プライバシーポリシー

一般財団法人日本地図センター（以下、「当センター」といいます）が提供するウェブサイト、アプリ等の各種サービス （以下、「本サービス」といいます）は、個人保護情報方針に従い、利用される皆さまの個人情報の管理に細心の注意を払い、 プライバシーポリシーを定めて取り扱いをします。

  1. 目的

    1. 当センターは、個人情報の保護に関する法律（「個人情報保護法」といいます）および本プライバシーポリシーを遵守して、 本サービスの利用者や業務提携先などの関係者（以下、「利用者」と総称します）の個人情報と 当センターが取得したその他の情報を管理するものとします。

  2. 取得範囲

    1. 当センターは、下記に掲げる利用目的のため、利用者の入力時、またはアクセス時に自動的に、 以下に定める利用者の情報を取得し、利用することがあります。
      1. 利用者の氏名、住所、性別、生年月日、電話番号、FAX番号、電子メールのアドレス
      2. 使用者のIPアドレス、Cookie、利用者の位置情報、端末情報、ユーザー属性、アプリの利用状況、リクエストの日時

  3. 利用目的

    1. 当センターは、収集した利用者の情報を下記の目的に必要な範囲で利用させていただきます。
      1. 本サービスの提供
      2. 利用者の利便性向上のための本サービス変更
      3. 第三者による効果的な広告配信や分析
      4. 本サービスに関連するアフターサービス（お問い合わせ等）
      5. 当センターによる新サービスの企画・開発
      6. 当センターが開催するイベント、プレスリリースに関する情報のお知らせ

  4. 情報管理

    1. 当センターは、利用者の個人情報に対する不正アクセスなどによる漏洩を防止するため、 管理体制を整備するとともにセキュリティ対策を実施いたし、データ伝送を保護するためにSSL暗号を使用します。

  5. 第三者への情報提供

    1. 当センターは、以下の各号のいずれかに該当する場合を除き、個人情報を第三者に提供・開示することはありません。
      1. 利用者から事前の承諾を得た場合
      2. 法令に基づく場合
      3. 人の生命、身体または財産の保護のために必要がある場合で用者の同意を得ることが困難であるとき
      4. 裁判所や警察等公的機関からの要請その他法令に基づき提供が求められる場合
      5. 利用目的達成に必要な範囲において、個人情報の取り扱いを含む業務の全部又は一部を委託する場合
      6. 合併その他の事由による事業の承継に伴って個人情報が提供される場合
    2. 以下の各号においては、特定の個人を識別することができないように個人情報を加工して個人情報を復元できないようにした上で、 当センターは第三者に対して、必要な範囲で個人情報を提供させていただきます。
      1. 新たなサービス等の検討のために必要な場合
      2. 調査・研究・分析のために研究機関に提供する場合
    3. 当センターは、委託先に個人情報を提供することが必要な場合は、業務委託先においても個人情報保護法を遵守し 利用者の個人情報を適切に管理することを求めます。また、個人情報にあたらない情報についても、 秘密管理性が求められる情報については、秘密保持契約その他の契約により適切に管理することを求めます。

  6. 開示・訂正請求

    1. 当センターは、個人情報保護法の趣旨に基づき、保有する利用者の個人情報に関して開示・訂正等の請求の対応を行います。 利用者は、当センターの定める手続により、利用者自身の個人情報を開示・訂正等を請求することができます。

  7. お問合せ

    1. 当センターは、本サービスにおける利用者の個人情報の取扱いに関する利用者からの苦情その他のお問合せを、 メールアドレス appli@jmc.or.jp で受け付けています。

  8. プライバシーポリシーの改定

    1. 当センターは、法令の変更等に伴い本プライバシーポリシーを日常的に見直し、その改善に努めます。 本プライバシーに重要な改定がある場合は、本サービス上でお知らせします。 また、本プライバシーポリシー改定の効力は、本サービスに表示された時点から即時に発生するものとします。

位置情報データについて

本サービスでは、地図利用等の利便性を高めるために、利用者の位置情報の取得を行います。 なお、本サービスで扱う利用者の位置情報には、利用者の氏名、メールアドレス、電話番号、 住所など個人を特定するものは一切含まれません。

Cookies（クッキー）について

Cookieとは、ブラウザとサーバーとの間で送受信した利用履歴や入力内容などを、 利用者の端末にファイルとして保存しておく仕組みです。 記録される情報には、利用者の氏名、メールアドレス、電話番号、住所など個人を特定するものは一切含まれません。

Privacy Policy

Japan Map Center ("Center") provides various services, such as websites and applications ("Services"), in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Policy, and pays close attention to the management of personal information of users, and establishes and handles the Privacy Policy.

If there is any discrepancy between the original Japanese version of the Privacy Policy and the English translation of the Privacy Policy, the original Japanese version of the Privacy Policy shall prevail and be applied.

  1. Purpose

    1. Center shall manage the personal information of users of the Services and related parties such as business partners (collectively, the “User“ or “Users“, depending upon the context), as well as other information obtained by Center, in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information ("Personal Information Protection Act") and this Privacy Policy.

  2. Scope of Acquisition

    1. Center may automatically acquire and use the User’s information specified below when the User enters or accesses the site for the purposes listed below.
      1. User’s name, address, gender, date of birth, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address.
      2. User’s IP address, cookies, location information, device information, user attributes, application usage, date and time of request.

  3. Purpose of Use

    1. Center will use the collected user information to the extent necessary for the following purposes.
      1. Provision of the Services
      2. Modification of the Services to improve the convenience of Users
      3. Effective advertisement distribution and analysis by third parties
      4. After-sales service (inquiries, etc.) related to the Services
      5. Planning and development of new services by Center
      6. Notification of information regarding events and press releases held by Center

  4. Information Management

    1. In order to prevent the leakage of Users' personal information due to unauthorized access, etc., Center will establish a management system and implement security measures, and will use SSL encryption to protect data transmission.

  5. Provision of Information to Third Parties

    1. Center will not provide or disclose personal information to any third party, except in the following cases.
      1. When prior consent has been obtained from the User
      2. When required by law
      3. When it is necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the User
      4. When the provision of personal information is requested by a court, the police, or other public institution, or is otherwise required by law
      5. When Center outsources all or part of its operations, including the handling of personal information, within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
      6. When personal information is provided in connection with the succession of a business due to a merger or other reasons
    2. In each of the following cases, Center will provide personal information to a third party to the extent necessary, after processing the personal information so that it cannot be used to identify a specific individual and the personal information cannot be recovered.
      1. When necessary for consideration of new services, etc.
      2. When the information is provided to research institutions for investigation, research, and analysis
    3. When it is necessary to provide personal information to a subcontractor, Center will require that the subcontractor comply with the Personal Information Protection Law and manage Users' personal information appropriately. Even for information that does not fall under the category of personal information, Center will require that information that is required to be managed confidentially be managed appropriately through confidentiality agreements and other contracts.

  6. Request for Disclosure and Correction

    1. In accordance with the purpose of the Personal Information Protection Law, Center will respond to requests for disclosure and correction of the personal information of Users in its possession. Users may request the disclosure or correction of their own personal information in accordance with the procedures specified by Center.

  7. Inquiries

    1. Center accepts complaints and other inquiries from Users regarding the handling of Users' personal information in the Services at the e-mail address “appli@jmc.or.jp”

  8. Revision of the Privacy Policy

    1. Center will review this Privacy Policy on a daily basis to improve it in accordance with changes in laws and regulations. If there are any important revisions to this Privacy Policy, we will announce them on the Services. In addition, the revision of this Privacy Policy shall take effect immediately when it is displayed on the Services.

About Location Information Data

The Services acquire Users' location information in order to enhance the convenience of map use, etc. The location information of Users handled by the Services does not include any information that identifies individuals, such as names, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, or addresses.

About Cookies

Cookies are a mechanism to store the usage history and input contents sent and received between the browser and the server as a file in the User's terminal. The recorded information does not include any information that identifies the individual, such as the user's name, e-mail address, telephone number, or address.
